Second week we have now made models of the hard landscape detail area. The model is giving a real insight into how the structure is going to look in reality. It has given me choices that I would not have foreseen if I just designed it without a 3D visual. This reminds me alot of the design process you go through when designing a set. Everything is designed in the model space. I really enjoy the sketch and model development stages of the process.

I have also made a mockup model in Sketchup just to see a little more detail.

Advanced Landscape Design:
First week we have started re-engaging with our Master plans from Advanced Landscape Design 1. By sketching out areas we wish to develop later with section drawings, plans and details. We then discuss with Duncan Goodwin on the second week back.
